The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) has urged the State Government to come out with a centralised admission policy at all levels of schooling to ensure a transparent admission system and to check the menace of capitation fee.

Addressing presspersons here on Tuesday, ABVP national vice-president Raghu Akmanchi said unless a centralised admission system was introduced for schools and colleges, it would be difficult to stop the exploitation of students and parents in the name of quality education.

The ABVP would urge the State Government to come out with a comprehensive law that would pave way for effective implementation of the existing Acts to curb the menace of capitation fee, Mr. Akmanchi said.
