The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), which is investigating illegal mining in the State, on Thursday said that it has set up a temporary office in Bellary. The agency requested those who wish to provide information on illegal mining to either contact its office in Bellary or in Bangalore. The agency arrested mining baron and the former Minister G. Janardhan Reddy and his brother-in-law B.V. Srinivasa Reddy, managing director of Obulapuram Mining Corporation, on August 5 in connection with illegal mining charges. — Special Correspondent
