The Karnataka Pradesh Kurubara Sangha has threatened of a statewide agitation if the title of the film All in one Kanakadasa is not changed.

Rajeshwari Salagatti, Punith Kallannavar, Hanumanthappa Kambali and Vijaykumar Hali, directors of the sangha, said Rakesh, the director of the film, had misused the name of the saint poet for cheap publicity.

They said the film had nothing to do with the life of the saint poet as it revolved around a love story.

They said the title had hurt the sentiments of the Kuruba community.

Ms. Rajeshwari said the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce should have thought twice before approving the title.

The film chamber should take steps to admonish the director and cancel the title, she said.
