To raise awareness on environment and health, a group of six motorcyclists will tour the southern States. They will leave Bangalore on Friday.

During their nine-day campaign, they will plant 1,000 saplings and interact with people on the importance of protecting the environment.

The Environment and Health Foundation is organising the campaign along with 19” Team and Cognizant Technology Solutions - Outreach. Treasurer of the foundation Ashok Charmanna told presspersons on Thursday that the group would cover Chennai, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari, Kochi, Munnar, Coimbatore, Ooty and Mysore. Naveen Belliappa, project in-charge of the foundation, said environmentalist Suresh Heblikar, and former international athlete Reeth Abraham would flag off the campaign at Cognizant's office.
