With the aim of awakening the entrepreneurial spirit among youth, a not-for-profit organisation, Jagriti Sewa Sansthan (JSS), in association with the Tata Group, has organised ‘Tata Jagriti Yatra 2010'.

The yatra is an annual train journey, wherein participants will visit institutions and meet their role models across the country.

Vivek B.S., Awareness Ambassador of JSS, told presspersons here on Saturday that youth should become job creators instead of job-seekers. During the yatra, participants would be taken to select corporate and social institutions where they would get the opportunity to meet their role models. He said that over 400 youth from all over India would be selected for this year's yatra. Depending upon the income of their parents, a substantial concession would be given to participants.

The 18-day yatra is scheduled to start from Mumbai on December 24. It will cover Thiruvananthapuram, Chennai, Madurai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Bhuvaneshwar, Devaria, New Delhi, Tilonia before returning to Mumbai on January 11.

Interested youth can register their names at www.jagritiyatra.com on or before October 31.
