Chief Minister criticised

TUMKUR: T.B. Jayachandra, deputy leader of the Congress Legislature Party in the Assembly, said on Tuesday that Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa’s “inexperience in administration” had affected the State. Addressing presspersons here, Mr. Jayachandra said that Mr. Yeddyurappa committed several “financial blunders” in the past four months. His “trial and error” methods in handling the State’s finances would further damage the prospects of the State”. Mr. Jayachandra said that the BJP should know that none of its election promises had been fulfilled. Let alone providing rice to the poor at Rs. 2 a kg, the Government had failed in streamlining the public distribution system. — Staff Correspondent
