MYSORE: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will take out "Satyasandesha Yatras" from Mysore and Dharmasthala simultaneously to inform people "about the truth" on Bababudan-Datta Peetha in Chikmagalur district.
While the Panchajanya Yatra, led by Chikmagalur MLA C.T. Ravi, will be flagged off by Deputy Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa in Mysore on November 20, the Sudarshana Yatra, led by Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar will be flagged off by state BJP president, Sadananda Gowda at Dharmasthala.
Rally on November 26
Both Yatras will reach Chikmagalur on November 26, where a rally will be held on that day, BJP Yuva Morcha president C.T. Ravi said.
Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, he said the yatras were organised to support Datta Jayanti and Shobha Yatra to be conducted by Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) and Bajrang Dal from December 1 to 4.
