If you thought you've survived your weekly quota of traffic gridlocks, the kind triggered by massive political rallies, on Tuesday morning, you're mistaken. There's more in store on Wednesday.

In a counter to the Congress rallies, held on Tuesday demanding the Bharatiya Janata Party Government step down, the BJP is organising rallies in 28 key locations across the city. The BJP members will be demanding the ouster of Governor H.R. Bhardwaj.

In each Assembly segment

The protests are scheduled to commence between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. and each Legislative Assembly constituency will have one such rally. “For three years, he has tried to topple a popular and democratically elected government. Now he must be recalled because he has proved beyond doubt that he is biased,” party members said.

Some of the key centres, most of them traffic-intensive areas during peak hours, that have been listed are Bazaar Street in Ulsoor, near the Ambedkar statue in Austin Town, Mysore Bank Circle, Gemini Circle (Dasarahalli), Vijaynagar Bus stand, T.C. Royan Road, and K.R. Puram.
