Members of the BJP took out a rally to protest against the hike in bus fares and corruption, in Bidar on Tuesday.

The protesters marched on the main roads of the city raising slogans. They submitted a memorandum at the Deputy Commissioner’s office. They alleged that within a month of coming to power, the Congress government had taken several “anti-people” steps. It was yet to implement its promise of supplying rice at Re. 1 a kg to below poverty line families. — Special Correspondent
