Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday celebrated the victory of their party candidates in the Assembly elections in north Indian States in Bidar.

Mahesh Palam, president of the local unit of the party, told the party workers that the common man had given a clear mandate against the Congress.

Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi wave factor had certainly worked in favour of the BJP in the Assembly elections, he said. Many leaders of the party, including Ishwar Singh Thakur and Maheshwar Swamy participated in the celebrations.
