Rahim Khan, MLA, inaugurated the 116th birth anniversary celebrations of Morarji Desai and the annual day of the Morarji Desai School here on Wednesday. He urged teachers to instil a sense of competition among students. “Teachers should not forget that most of the students in these schools belong to backward classes and minorities. They have not been exposed to the opportunities that are naturally available to other students. That is why special care should be given to students of these schools,” he said.

District social welfare officer G. S Lingaraj Urs, tahsildar Mallikarjun and others were present.
