Vishal Amrut Rao won the first prize in the bicycle rally organised here on Sunday. He covered a distance of 10 km in 19 minutes and 45 seconds. Aravind Amrut Rao won the second prize by clocking 20 minutes and 29 seconds. Rahim Khan, MLA, who distributed the prizes, urged students to work hard and aim high. Over 100 students between 16 years and 18 participated in the rally. The Bidar Traffic Police, Regional Transport Office and Rotary club of Bidar had organised the event as part of the road safety week. Chennai-based TI Cycles and Dilip Cycle Stores had sponsored the prizes, said a release.
