Bangalore: To highlight the rise of Indian crossover cinema in the West, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan in association with American Corners has organised “Yellow Frames”, an Indo-American film festival.

V.K. Murthy, Dada Phalke Award winner, opened the festival on Friday. It will include movies such as Indian Cowboy, American Chai and Mississippi Masala.

Mr. Murthy charmed the audience with one of the shortest inaugural speeches.
