Imposters, posing as officials of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), are on the prowl in Bellary district and therefore people, particularly those in mining business, have been cautioned not to fall prey and get duped.

People may be aware that as per the directions of the Supreme Court, the anti-corruption bureau of CBI have been investigating cases of illegal mining and illegal transportation and export of iron ore from Belikeri port.
