A three-day film festival titled “Belli Nrutya” will be held under the aegis of Belli Mandala organisation at Suvarna Samskruti Bhavan here from October 28 to 30.

Films based on classical dance would be screened during the festival. Karnataka Sangeetha Nrutya Academy Chairperson Vaijayanthi Kashi would inaugurate it on October 28 at 6 p.m.. Deputy Commissioner and honorary president of Belli Mandala V. Ponnuraj, working president K.A. Ashok Pai, and coordinator Vaidya would take part in the inaugural ceremony.

Malayalam movie Vaanaprastham would be screened on the inaugural day. Hindi movie Jhanak Jhanak Payal Baje would be screened on October 29 at 6 p.m.. On October 30, Kannada movie Ananda Bhairavi would be screened at 11 a.m..

Dance expert Geetha Datar would interact with the audience following the screening of movies. Artiste Seetha Kote would take part in the valedictory programme. Telugu movie Swarna Kamalam would be screened.
