MYSORE: Mysore Bar Association has sought grant-in-aid to purchase books and furniture and improve its library.

In a memorandum submitted to the Deputy Commissioner, the association said it was planning to grant a stipend of Rs. 1,000a month to junior advocates.

It was pointed out that the Government had helped in maintaining the library and provided funds for buying books, but has not been offering any aid for the past two years.
