Bagalur student selected for trip to Japan

His hard work, diligence and sportsmanship earned Paul Sebastian, a Class 9 student of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bagalur, a trip to Japan as part of the Jenesys (Japan - East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) programme. The selection of students was based on their overall performance at school. Having secured excellent grades and having participated in the National Sub-Junior Archery Meet and the National Rural Archery Meet, Paul ticks all the boxes for selection. He was one amongst the 290 students chosen from all over India for this program, and left for Japan on November 21.

He will be there till November 29. Jenesys is a collaboration of the Union Ministry for Human Resources Development and the Government a spirit of understanding among young people of East Asian countries.
