The University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, is organising “Parthenium Awareness Day” on Thursday between 9.30 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. at North Block Auditorium, GKVK Campus. Karnataka State Pollution Control Board Chairman A.S. Sadashivaiah will inaugurate the programme. Former vice chancellor of University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad will deliver a talk on “Parthenium – a national weed – status, problems and management strategies”, on the occasion, according to a release.
