The Drug Testing Laboratory has said the following drugs are “not of standard quality”. They are: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and Chlorpheniramine Maleate tablets (Gold Comb) (Batch No. GCM-201 manufactured by Gopish Pharma Ltd., Tehsil Nalagarh, H.P.); Flores-T (Ciprofloxacin & Tinidazole tablets) (Batch No. A0668 manufactured by Pharma French Pharmaceuticals, Tehsil Nalagarh); Terflox-200 tablets (ofloxacin tablets I.P.) (Batch No. 139008 manufactured by Innova Cap tablets, Jharmajri, Baddi, H.P.); Moxnecs-500 (Amoxycillin capsule I.P. 500 mg) (Batch No. V9K-111 manufactured by Venus Bio Sciences, Jharmajri, Baddi, HP); Nimuzen-A (Batch No. ZA10304, manufactured by Valence Health Care, Tehsil, Indrora, HP).

The Drug Controller has warned chemists, wholesalers, doctors, hospitals and nursing homes not to stock, sell or use these drugs. People have also been cautioned.
