C. Puttaraju and M. Srinivas, MLAs, have lauded the Atalji Janasnehi Kendras (AJK) as the “most useful project launched by the State government”.
While Mr. Puttaraju launched the project at Holalu in Mandya taluk, Mr. Srinivas inaugurated it at Hanakere in the taluk on Monday. Both described the project as “people-friendly”.
Speaking after inaugurating the project on Monday, Mr. Srinivas said that people should make use of the project to avail themselves of RTC, caste certificate, address proof documents, income certificate, registration of births and deaths, pensions for widows and persons with disabilities, Sandhya Suraksha and other facilities.
The Atalji Janasnehi Kendras would help the people get services done in the shortest possible time, Mr. Puttaraju said, addressing the gathering at Holalu village.
The general public can obtain documents pertaining to 36 services of various departments through the janasnehi kendras, Mr. Puttaraju added here.
