Bangalore: The Karnataka State High School Assistant Masters’ Association has urged the State Government to rescind its order on cancellation of the notional increment given to teachers during the period in which they worked on contract basis before being absorbed to the Government service. Addressing a press conference in Bangalore on Monday, association general secretary K.C. Puttasiddashetty said about 10,000 teachers working in government and 15,000 teachers working in aided institutions were affected.
