Varun Gandhi, general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), said on Friday that the Assembly elections results in the State would have far-reaching consequences and urged the electorate to think of not just gains in the State, but also in the country as a whole.
‘Vote must be message’
He was speaking at a public meeting organised by the district unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party here. “Your vote should be a message to the country,” he said.
“On May 5, you should give a positive vote for not just your State and future, but also keep in mind that you require a strong and stable Government at the Centre,” Mr. Gandhi said.
