BANGALORE: Young architects and design professionals are in for a designing fiesta this season. The Home Review magazine is conducting an exclusive design competition, Designquest, which will give budding designers a shot at attending Saloni, the world renowned furniture and design show in Milan in April.
The Home Review Designquest is open to any design enthusiast under 35.
Participants are required to register themselves by creating an online profile and gathering votes from visitors of the site. Contestants with the top 50 votes can progress to the next round which involves interactions with the Home Review editorial team, personal interviews of the contestants and authoring a blog entitled “Why I should be at Milan.” The final round in Mumbai will be attended by the 15 finalists, out of which five winners will bag an all-expenses paid trip to Milan.
The five will also get to travel in a private jet from Milan to Germany to visit the stunning facility of Hansgrohe, leading brand in international sanitation industry and the title sponsor of the Designquest.
Designquest is an entry ticket for budding designers to interact with world’s biggest names in interiors and architecture, to participate in discussion forums, to experience a variety of installations and exhibits, and to view the unveiling of the latest collections from world’s leading product manufacturers in Milan, Italy.
