MYSORE: Members of Federation of International Students’ Associations, Mysore on Saturday took out a silent march here in protest against Israel’s military action in Gaza, Palestine.

Students from Middle East, including Palestine, and other nations took out a procession from the University of Mysore grounds, and passed through the main thoroughfares of the city.

While condemning Israel’s “inhuman actions” in Gaza, the international students said they were with the people of Palestine in the hour of crisis and urged India and all other like-minded countries to push for the withdrawal of Israelis from Gaza and stop their “illegal occupation” there.

“Palestinians are not animals to be confined in one corner unable to get basic supplies and health facilities from the rest of the world. Palestine should get freedom and liberty from Israel,” the federation said in a resolution here.
