MANGALORE: Sri Rama Sene convener Arun Kumar Putthila has criticised the alleged attempts of the district administration to prevent the entry of the sene chief Pramod Muthalik to Dakshina Kannada.

He told presspersons here on Tuesday that there was no proof to suggest that Mr. Muthalik had caused communal disturbance as was being claimed by the administration.

Although there were a few allegations against him, none of them had been proved, he said.

Condemning the externment notices served on convener of the sene Prasad Attavar and four other members, Mr. Putthila said, “These acts show that the Bharatiya Janata Party feels threatened about the growth of the sene”.
