Shimoga District Chess Association has organised a State-level chess championship in the under-11 age category at Acharya Tulasi National College of Commerce in the city from July 6 to 8. The winners and runners-up in this event will represent Karnataka in the national-level chess tournament which will be held in Jamshedpur in August.
