Bangalore: The ICSE 10th standard geography examination scheduled on Wednesday has been postponed to April 2. All schools in Bangalore were informed of the directive from the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination on Tuesday afternoon.
No reason was given though there were rumours of a leak.
Margaret Eastwood, convener, ICSE Examinations, said, “We are just complying with the directive and informing schools.”
Sr. Priscilla, Principal, St. Charles Girls High School, told The Hindu, “We got to know about the postponement only in the evening. As we were not able to inform all students, we will be putting up a board at the school.”
The 10th standard examinations started on March 10 and were scheduled to end on March 30. Now, they will end on April 2.
