For all those nursing the dream of studying abroad, the array of choices can be baffling. The Internet, as promising as it many seem, cannot be the only source of information when it comes to decisions this big.

This is where The Hindu EducationPlus International Education Fair steps in. The fair, which made a promising debut last year in Bangalore, is back in the city on Tuesday.

The fair, an annual feature in Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hyderabad and Bangalore, is being organised with the objectives of creating a platform for every aspiring student by providing complete information on education abroad and bringing together education providers and students on a single platform.

Unlike others, this event aims at being more than just about stalls by getting students to interact face to face with representatives of international institutions. Along with the representatives, consultants will also make their services available at the fair to help students with the various formalities.

Universities will also counsel students at the venue. There will be seminars on destination-specific opportunities and visa formalities.

This year, universities from Canada, the U.K., the U.S., Singapore, the Netherlands, Dubai, Germany, Russia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Australia, Russia, France, Switzerland, Latvia and other European countries will be present at the event.

Students and parents can attend the fair. Registration will be at the venue.

The Hindu EducationPlus International Education Fair '12 will be held on Tuesday at the Vivanta by Taj, M.G. Road, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Entry is free.
