BANGALORE: Two software engineers were killed in as many road accidents in the city on Wednesday morning. The police said that around 7.45 a.m., M. Bhaskar (35), who was riding a motorcycle, came under the wheels of a KSRTC bus on Palace Road.

While Mr. Bhsakar was driving near the CoD headquarters, a 14-year-old-boy came on to the road. While trying to avoid the boy, he rammed the bus, the police said.

A native of Kurnool district in Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Bhaskar was working in a software company on Race Course Road here. He was on his way to the office from his J.P. Nagar house. The boy, who was injured in the accident, has been admitted in NIMHANS. The High Grounds traffic police have registered a case.

In another incident, Albi Jose (27) was killed after he rammed a tree in Airport traffic police station limits around 1 a.m. The police said that after Jose rammed a roadside tree, the car bounced and hit the compound of the Helicopter Division of the HAL and another tree and fell into a drain. Jose was a resident of Airport Road and worked as a team leader in a software firm. The Airport traffic police have registered a case.
