MANGALORE: Two-wheelers were distributed to self help group workers of Navodaya Grama Vikas Charitable trust to help them commute to villages, at a function held here on Thursday.

Anand Shetty, former president of the Dakshina Kannada District Working journalists Association presented the two-wheelers to the beneficiaries said that Navodaya was playing a major role in bringing about a social change in rural India.

M.N. Rajendra Kumar, president, Karnataka State Apex Co-operative Bank, who presided over the function, said the vehicles had been provided at a subsidy of Rs.5, 000.
