Vatal Nagaraj’s wife owns Rs. 2.32-crore worth immovable properties
BANGALORE: Former principal of Seshadripuram College K.E. Radhakrishna, who is contesting the Lok Sabha elections from the Bangalore South constituency on the Janata Dal (Secular) ticket has declared the family assets, including those held by his wife G.R Ramadevamma and son D.R. Raghunandan Vikram, at Rs. 2.67 crore.
The assets include Rs. 20.01 lakh in deposits, Rs. 18.14 lakh in financial instruments, gold and silver ornaments worth Rs. 4.4 lakh, and a Hyundai I10 car. He owns 1.07 acres of agricultural land jointly with his wife at Kengeri hobli worth Rs. 40 lakh. He owns a house at J.C. Nagar worth Rs. 45 lakh and 13.6 acres of agricultural land at Peraje village in Kodagu district worth Rs. 8 lakh.
His wife and son jointly own a site at Nagarbhavi worth Rs. 41 lakh, two flats at Tavarekere and Whitefield (under construction) together worth Rs. 91 lakh. The family has declared a liability of Rs. 23.27 lakh.

Byatarayanapura MLA and Congress candidate for Bangalore South constituency Krishna Byre Gowda has declared his family’s assets, including those held by his wife Meenakshi Seshadri, at Rs. 2.76 crore
His family’s assets include Rs. 14.74 lakh in deposits, 88.35 acres at Garudanapalya in Narasapura hobli jointly held with his brother Chowde B. Gowda and inherited from his late father C. Byre Gowda, former Minister. The land is worth Rs. 88 lakh. He owns a house from which he is getting a rent of Rs. 61,000, and he also has a Toyota Innova car.
His wife Ms. Meenakshi has $ 82,226 (about Rs. 41 lakh calculated at the rate of Rs. 50 a dollar) in two U.S. banks, gold and silver jewellery worth Rs. 3.1 lakh, and a Hyundai car. Besides, she owns a site at Huskur village at Nelamangala worth Rs. 1.2 lakh and two apartments worth Rs. 1.26 crore. The family’s liability has been shown at Rs. 94 lakh.
Kannada Chaluvali Vatal Paksha leader Vatal Nagaraj’s wife Jnanamba seems to be richer than her husband. She owns Rs. 2.32-crore worth of immovable properties. Mr. Nagaraj owns land worth Rs. 4 lakh and a BDA site at Basaveshwaranagar, here, the value of which has not been declared.
The combined assets of the family are worth over Rs. 2.5 crore. He has a 1972-model Fiat car and a 2006 model Scorpio SUV and owns 6.15 acres worth Rs. 4 lakh at Hadinaru village in Nanjangud taluk.
Ms. Jnanamba has 8.6 kg of silver and about 30 pieces of gold jewellery with stones, the cost of which has not been declared. She owns 53.24 acres of land at Hadinaru village in Nanjangud, Yalavanagundi village and Vatal village in T. Narasipur taluk estimated at Rs. 44 lakh. The couple have Rs. 1.71 lakh in bank accounts.
Besides, she owns a house in RMV Extension here, which is worth Rs.1.18 crore on which a loan of Rs. 70 lakh has been raised. Ms. Jnanamba owns a site in RMV Extension which is worth Rs. 70 lakh.
