BANGALORE: There was chaos at K.R. Circle on Monday when it reopened to traffic on Seshadri Road on Monday.

The police also allowed two-way movement on Old Post Office Road between the K.R. Circle and Mysore Bank Circle with the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike aiming for signal-free movement at K.R. Circle.

Absence of the signals made it difficult for the police to control the traffic. Movement of traffic from Seshadri Road blocked vehicles coming from the Mysore Bank Circle and vice-versa.

Added to this was plight of those on foot who were finding it hard to locate the pedestrian subways.

“We are seeing the problems and will address them,” said Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Panduranga Rane.
