BANGALORE: Members of the Food Corporation of India (FCI) Executive Staff Union will stage lunch-hour demonstration in front of the FCI district offices on a day in each district between August 31 and September 5 demanding that the Food Ministry implement an eight-point charter of demands concerning the welfare of 29,000 employees of FCI working in the country. The union activists will also stage a dharna in front of the regional office in Bangalore on September 11, according to a press release from the Food Corporation of India Executive Staff Union.
