BANGALORE: Banking services in seven associate banks of State Bank of India (SBI) were affected for the second consecutive day on Tuesday after officers in these banks went on strike opposing the move to merge the associate banks with SBI.

A protest rally held under the banner of Associate Banks’ Officers’ Association was attended by over 1,000 officers of these banks in front of the State Bank of Mysore Head Office here. — Staff Reporter
