HASSAN: Workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party led by district party president Navile Annappa and secretary Kamal Kumar took out rally in Hassan on Tuesday in protest against the behaviour of Janata Dal (Secular) leaders H.D. Deve Gowda and H.D. Kumaraswamy. Addressing the party workers, they described the events that led to the resignation of B.S. Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister as the blackest day in Indian democracy. The JD(S) had proved to be extremely untrustworthy. They charged Mr. Deve Gowda with having dealt a severe blow to democracy. “We will go to the court of the people for justice,” they said. Party activists took out protest rallies in Arsikere and Belur on Monday and burned their effigies.
