Over 300 acres of land has been identified for this purpose
KARWAR: Praveen Togadia, general secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, has said that a Vishwa Hindu Sammelan will be held on the banks of the Ganga at Prayag for three days beginning from February 11.
He told the reporters here on Tuesday that over five lakh people from different parts of the country and delegates from 100 countries were expected to participate in the sammelan. Over 300 acres of land had been identified for this purpose.
On the construction of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, he said the matter was still before the court. The temple would be built once the case was disposed of.
On the statement of Janata Dal (S) national president H.D. Deve Gowda conventions would be organised to counter the Hindu Samajotsava organised by the Sangh Parivar, he said everyone had right to hold such conventions in a democratic system.
