BANGALORE: A “Friendship walk” for helping the visually and physically challenged people will be organised here on Sunday by IDL Foundation.

Addressing presspersons on Friday, the founder and executive trustee of the foundation, P.K. Paul, said that “Friendship walk” was being organised by the foundation jointly with Bangalore City Traffic Police and Amaravathi, a forum of senior citizens. He said that about 150 visually challenged people would participate in it. There would be an event for special children.

The event was being organised to raise awareness among the people on the need to help the visually and physically challenged children, he said.

Mr. Paul said that the foundation would distribute special whistles to visually and physically challenged people who participated in the event. It would be flagged off at 11 a.m. near the Ulsoor Lake in front of RBI Quarters and would end at Gurudwar.
