MANGALORE: Shri Dhavala Mahavidyalaya of Moodbidri, in association with Indira Gandhi National Open University, has launched week-end courses for various subjects.

Addressing presspersons here, pincipal of the college Raveesh Kumar said that both students and working people could join these courses as the classes would be held only on Sundays.

The courses to be offered are: B.A. in different combinations of subjects, B.Com, Bachelor of Computer Application (BCA), Bachelor of Tourism Studies (BTS), Bachelor of Preparatory Programme (BPP), which enables people without formal education to earn a graduate degree of their choice, Bachelor of Social Work (BSW), BLIS (Library science).

Under the post-graduate programme, the institution will offer M.A. in Hindi, English, History, Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Tourism Management, MBA, M.Com., and Master of Library and Information science.
