BANGALORE: Kanchi Kamakoti Paramacharya Chandrashekara Saraswathi’s original work in Tamil Devavani translated in Kannada was released here on Wednesday. The seven-volume Devavani has been translated into Hindi and English.

It was released by Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa and Governor Rameshwar Thakur at a glittering function at Chowdiah Memorial Hall.

Giving benedictions on this occasion, Jayendra Saraswathi, Sankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham said that “Jana seva and Dharma Rakshana were the two most important tasks that should be the hallmarks of the government”.
