BANGALORE: The Sahakara Bharati has urged the Government to amend the Cooperative Act. Sahakara Bharati national secretary Konkodi Padmanabha told presspersons here on Friday that the Co-operative Act, framed in 1959, had been rendered irrelevant because of several changes. Review of the Cooperative Act had become imminent following the new rules framed by the Planning Commission. — Staff Reporter
