BANGALORE: The Central Board for Secondary Education will publish on its website the 10th standard results for schools that come under the South zone (i.e., Chennai Region) at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. As many as 96,901 students from 1,501 schools in the southern region took the examination which commenced on March 3.

Besides obtaining their individual results from the official CBSE website ( www.cbse.nic.in), students can also call Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) helpline for their marks. Candidates from Bangalore/outside Bangalore can call Ph: 1255532, an Integrated Voice Response System helpline, from their landline/mobile phones, according to a BSNL press release.

It is for the first time that students will be evaluated on the new test pattern which had 20 per cent questions dedicated to testing students’ analytical skills rather than rote learning.
