MANGALORE: The Hindu EducationPlus will organise a pre-counselling session for students who appeared for the Common Entrance Test and the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) test, at the Town Hall here on Friday.
The session will begin at 10 a.m. A panel of experts will answer queries from students. The panelists are Aloysius Henry Sequeira, former Registrar of the National Institute of Technology – Karnataka, Surathkal, and Professor and Head, Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Management, NIT-K; Chakrapani, Professor and Head, Department of General Medicine, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore; and Ganesh Shenoy, a dentist.
They will reply to questions related to choice of courses and careers and professional requirements. The Hindu EducationPlus Career Guide 2008 will be distributed to participating students free of cost. Entry to the session is free. Parents can accompany their children.
