Summer schedule announced
BANGALORE: The highlights of the Air India Summer schedule coming into effect from March 30 are the introduction of a new thrice-weekly direct flight from Bangalore to Dubai; increasing frequency of the existing flights between Bangalore and Male to a daily flight; and reintroduction of flights between Bangalore and Kochi.
The new Air India flight IC 949 will leave Bangalore on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 3.20 p.m. to reach Dubai at 5.30 p.m. (local time). The incoming flight from Dubai will arrive at Bangalore on the same days at 2.45 p.m. This new flight also provides Executive and Economy class services.
In addition, Air India also operates a direct flight to Sharjah (also in the United Arab Emirates) leaving Bangalore at 8.15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays.
The existing five days a week flight to Male (Maldives) will operate daily from March 30. The flight IC 965 will leave Bangalore at 3.30 p.m. to reach Male at 5.00 p.m. (local time). The incoming flight will arrive at Bangalore at 2.15 p.m.
The reintroduced flight IC 909, Bangalore – Kochi – Bangalore, will leave Bangalore daily at 11.50 a.m. to reach Kochi at 12.45 p.m. The incoming flight from Kochi will reach Bangalore at 11.10 a.m.
