MALAPPURAM: Bahauddeen Muhammed Nadvi, vice-principal of Darul Huda Islamic Academy at Chemmad and general secretary of the Samastha Kerala Jamiyyathul Muallimeen, has won the Al-Mahabba Excellency Award instituted by the Kuwait Sunni Cultural Centre.

He won the award for his contributions in both religious and temporal education. Indian Union Muslim League State president Panakkad Sayed Mohammedali Shihab Thangal will give away the award to Mr. Nadvi at a Sunni conference to be held in Malappuram on April 13. — Staff Reporter
