Ten artists from Hungary will participate in a 10-day art camp/residency programme at the International Centre Goa (ICG) next month.
The Art Indulge Foundation in cooperation with the Hungarian Information and Cultural Centre, New Delhi, (and ICG will organise the camp from March 2 to 12, and a five-day “Art Holiday” from March 7 to 12.
Vice-president of European Federation of Artists Colonies Imre Szakacs along with Ilona Deak, Tibor Brada, Andras Gaal, Maria Kiszely, Jozsef Buhaly, Jakab Forster, Laszlo Zoltan Kiss, Gyorgy Verebes, and Orsolya Csuros have been invited to art residency. The foundation is also hosting “Art Holiday”, a novel concept of art promotion.
Artists Vrishali Raje, Anita Tiwari, and Prabha Kashalkar have been selected for “Art Holiday” in Goa.
Members get an opportunity to mingle with foreign artists, exchange skills, and share career and life experiences.
“We provide a global platform to participants and facilitate art education as well as international networking through such concepts.
“Art holidays” add value to an ordinary vacation and enhance self-growth through personal interaction with people from diverse cultures and walks of life,” says Seema Moghe, curator. Paintings made in the camp for artists will be exhibited on the final day art show, “Intrigued by India, the Zephyrs of Goa”, followed by art shows in Mumbai and New Delhi. The shows will be curated by Ms. Seema Moghe.
Prabha Kashalkar, Sachin Jadhav and Moghe from Nasik, Anita Tiwari from Delhi, Yolanda de Sousa Kammermeier from Goa and Sonal Raje from Canada will exhibit their works as artist members of Art Indulge Foundation.
This is the third art camp being organised by ICG.
The last camp was held in August when 13 artists from Goa painted “Wild Flowers of Dona Paula”, which were exhibited at ICG between February 9 and 12.
