Art camp to address violence against women, children

Artists from various parts of the State have come to Mysore to create works depicting violence against women and children.

Around 35 artists will create their works at a two-day art camp organised by the Odanadi Seva Samsthe, a voluntary organisation that rescues and rehabilitates exploited women and children. It began here on Saturday.

Renowned artist K.T. Shivaprakash inaugurated the camp, which will be conducted under his guidance. The artcreated during the two days, which will depict crimes and violence against women and children, will be presented to the samsthe.

Participants

Artists and others who have come from various parts of the State, are participating in the event, a press release from Odanadi said.

People can visit the Odanadi Seva Samsthe campus to view the art and interact with artists.
