Five students, accused of ragging a student in Sullia, have taken anticipatory bail on Tuesday. The Puttur Fifth Additional Court has granted bail to Sachin, Karthik, Ganesh, Praveen Kumar and Karthik, said the Sullia Police. On August 21, cases of ragging and other criminal sections had been filed against 15 students of KVG Polytechnic College after Prithvin (18), a first-year Computer Science student, complained of assault related to ragging.

Police had arrested three senior students following the incident, and all have been released on bail.
