The annual fair of Suttur Math to celebrate the birth anniversary of Adi Jagadguru Shivarathreeshwara Shivayogi Swami will be held on the math premises at Nanjangud taluk in Mysore district from February 6 to 11.

Maleyur Guruswamy, editor of the magazine ‘Prasada’ published by the JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysore, said here on Thursday that the Krishivignan Kendra established by JSSM would have a special stall on the math premises showcasing modern agricultural practices for the benefit of farmers.

He said in addition to 20,000 invitees, nearly 1.5 lakh people were expected to attend. Breakfast, lunch and dinner would be arranged.Nearly 1,000 public toilets were being set up and 4,000 volunteers trained for the event. Exhibitions of industrial and consumer products, State-level bhajans by 350 teams, mass marriage of 180 couples, sports competitions and cultural programmes will also be held.
