The Karnataka Sexuality Minorities Forum has urged the State Government to allocate Rs. 20 crore in the ensuing Budget for the welfare of sexuality minorities. Addressing presspersons here on Thursday, Mahesh Patil, State convenor of the forum, said that sexuality minorities have been, over the decades, demanding the Government to consider them as citizens and provide facilities such as ration card and voter's identification. To lead a respectful life, they need identification and government's helping hand, he said.. — Staff Reporter
