BANGALORE: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has spent Rs. 4.59 crore on air travel, including that by helicopter, in the last seven months alone while his two predecessors N. Dharam Singh and H.D. Kumaraswamy together have spent Rs. 8.69 crores on air travel in 38 months. This has been revealed by Mr. Yeddyurappa himself in a written reply to Basavaraj Horatti (Janata Dal-Secular) in the Legislative Council. According to the reply, Mr. Dharam Singh spent Rs. 3.75 crore on air travel in 17 months from June 2004 to November 2005. Similarly, Mr. Kumaraswamy spent Rs. 4.94 crore in a little less than 19 months. — Special Correspondent
